I am new to the world of 3D printing and CNC, so take may opinion with a grain of salt, but I must say I am very impressed with the capabilities and the quality of Snapmaker.
Manufacturing quality and packaging is perfect to the last detail, the structure very robust, which was one of the reasons I went for this machine. The controls are intuitive and simple enough.
I have been printing non-stop and so far, I have come across no serious issues.
The prints are very clean and precise.
The only three things, so far, where I can see some room for improvement are the loudness of the power source, which makes way more noise than the machine itself.
The instruction manual is missing some key pieces of information, like how to replace a filament coil, though that's fairly self-explanatory, or information on maintenance, cleaning, and the replacing of extruders, but those can probably be found online.
In the firmware I have come across a bug where the UI crashes when you try to delete a file from a mounted USB drive, which, by the way, must be formatted as FAT32 with a block size of 8192, otherwise it will not be detected. This information can only be found in forums.
But all of these are just minor issues with simple workarounds. Given that the machine has just been released, I am sure these will be addressed soon enough, though I'll be probably stuck with the noisy power source fan.
As I want to really master 3D printing before I move on to CNC and laser engraving, and since I have started a few projects which still require numerous parts to be printed, I can not comment on the quality of the CNC and the laser heads, but I am confident those work just fine, too.
Last but not least, I have to mention the accessories which came with the machine, which are also of a very high grade and very useful.
All in all, I can say that Snapmaker is well worth the wait and I can definitely recommend it.
