Quality in Every Detail

Sustainability, Without Compromise

Both filament and spool are crafted from 100% recyclable materials, balancing eco-friendly values with superior print reliability.

Printing Tips

1. Drying, Storage & Protection

• Pre-Drying: TPU is extremely hygroscopic and must be dried before use. The recommended drying settings are 70°C for 6 hours.
• Storage & Protection: During both daily storage and the printing process, the filament should always be kept in a sealed container with desiccant. For optimal print quality, we recommend using the SnapDryer while printing.

2. Printing

• Feeding: Due to its flexibility, TPU requires precise control during feeding and retraction. To minimize the risk of print failure, we strongly recommend watching our video guide before your first print.
• Surface Quality Tip: For bubbles or stringing, please dry the filament thoroughly. If stringing persists, try adjusting your settings by reducing the retraction distance.
• Removal: TPU tends to over-adhere to the build plate, which may damage the model surface during removal. It is recommended to apply a glue stick to the platform before printing to act as a release layer for easier removal.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is a Top Cover required for TPU 95A HF?

No, it is not required.

2. Is a Hardened Steel Hot End required for TPU 95A HF?

No, it is not required.

3. Do I need to dry TPU 95A HF before printing or keep it continuously dried?

It is necessary to dry TPU 95A HF before printing. TPU is highly moisture-sensitive, and absorbed moisture can lead to issues such as stringing, bubbling, and inconsistent extrusion.
For optimal print quality, it is also necessary to keep the filament continuously dried during printing and storage.
For best results, it is recommended to use a filament dryer such as the SnapDryer throughout both pre-print drying and the printing process.

6. How can I reduce stringing?

To reduce stringing effectively, you can optimize the following:
• Dry the filament thoroughly and ensure it remains moisture-free during use, as moisture is a key cause of stringing
• Slightly reduce the printing temperature to minimize material oozing
• Slightly increase the retraction distance to improve control of filament flow during travel moves

7. How can I reduce nozzle clogging issues?

To reduce the risk of nozzle clogging, you can optimize the following:
• Reduce the retraction distance (or disable it if necessary), as excessive retraction may cause heat creep and filament softening
• Use a hanging spool setup to minimize feeding resistance and ensure smoother filament delivery
• Ensure stable and consistent filament feeding to avoid unnecessary strain on the extrusion system
