Does the job

It does what it’s meant to do and it has a nice design… only a couple of notes that don’t affect my 5 stars:
- the status light can only be seen if you’re looking at the bottom from above, however, it’s generally mounted at the top of a machine that usually already sits on a bench.
- the other note is on the need to switch off the power supply to get the system reset and ready for the next job or to fix the current one. It could simply cut power to the motors (laser, drives, CNC, etc.), but not require a full system reboot.

E stop

The estop functions like it's supposed to and the mounting location is perfect. I wish the estop would have been standard with the machine to help prevent damage from collisions with the print bed or cnc bits.

Snapmaker 2 - Stop Button Thoughts

The stop button is great it works, its metal and great design, looks great also.
Other thoughts and things i have discovered.
Once activated you then have to power cycle the unit, which then looses where you were up to on the project.
Ideally i would also love for it not to be on the top at the side, but near either the controller or at the point in the case that is closest to my work desk to get to it quicker.

Great to have for laser work and manual moves

This is essential for any laser work or manual moves, to quickly stop motion and prevent hardware damage if unexpected moves occur.
HOWEVER
It is required to power cycle the machine to recover, which takes some time and can impact the final part.
