White is semi-translucent

Referring to Henrik Hansen: "White is not really white"
Yes, the white filament is partly translucent, this makes it appear "less white" than other filaments.
We are using this effect on purpose to create LCD backlight diffusors or shine-through LED light box screens.
It really depends on the targeted application if this translucent colour is an advantage or a disadvantage.
At least this property should be mentioned clearly in Snapmaker's table of material specifications.

Black PLA poor print quality relative to white

The black filament was much more difficult to get a reasonable print out of than the white I’d gotten from Snapmaker as well. Even trying a temperature tower found a lot more stringing and blobs across the temperature range. Benchy with settings that worked well across several colors and makers were lower quality.

Great PLA matched for Snapmaker

This is very good quality PLA, and it's a great price. I recommend it for the simplicity of printing, and its out-of-the-box compatibility with Luban.

White is not really white

The filament is okay.
But the color is a weird off white, it’s like they did not get enough white color in to the mixture. The item printed look cheap because it’s color.
Picture comparing normal white filament with snapmaker filament.

Last time I bought white filament from snapmaker.
Maybe I just got a bad filament. ?
